August took me on several great adventures.  I started the month off in Alaska and Vancouver, cruising with my sister aboard the Disney Wonder.  The end of the month was spent in Europe, traveling around Switzerland and Paris, on vacation with Dave.  After a spectacular dinner at David Toutain– no, really.  14 courses of innovative and beautifully prepared food– Dave and I took a walk along the River Seine.  Looking at La Tour Eiffel from Pont de L’alma, that lovely man knelt down on one knee and asked me to be his bride.  I came home from Paris with the best souvenir of all!  A new fiance!  (Ok, and a really sparkly ring too!)
